What is a Narcissist?

I didn't know anything about Narcissism  until I spoke with my therapist, doctor and a friend who had been in a relationship with one.  They opened my eyes and as I spoke to more people about it and shared my experiences I got more validation and information realizing OMG this is what I am experiencing within my family dynamics.  I hope I can offer some information to help you explain certain behaviors within you family, friendships or relationships that may offer comfort.
