Attack By Family Members

 Christmas Day I got verbally attacked by my 32 years old granddaughter.  It was all about a gift for my youngest granddaughter. I have three and the youngest one I hadn't given the card too. YET  Just as a side note I was not given any gifts from any of them.

But she confronted me and asked if I had her sisters card and gift in my bag. I said I did. We hadn't even eaten yet. There was another family member close to my age who I connected with at the get together.  

We were both sewers and had a great conversation going. 

My family never sits down and talks to me so I was so happy to have some good conversation. 

The 32 yo decided I should have given it to her earlier. And got really aggressive with me. Then she threw that card and gift I gave her on my lap and said WE don't want your gifts. So I took that to include the one she confronted me about.  So I never gave her the gift and the middle one gave me her card and gift back too. 

I was stunned, shocked and was not happy I was trying to be controlled by this young woman. If she had sat down and had an open conversation with me all would have been well. 

The next day I wrote a letter but have learned to think before sending something. A friend calls it self restraint of pen and tongue. 

The next day I got and email from the oldest one, I thought at last they are communicating. 

Sadly it was one more attack. I answered her honestly. And later got attacked again. 

I was so sad to be treated this way. 

I was perusing the internet and found the you tube video above. 

I was like OMG that's what happened in the situation. It made me feel validated, I was grateful.

I decided to share it here. The middle one attacked as well. 

I have always been kind generous and loving to them since they were wee ones.

My only thought was "could she she be doing drugs or drinking?" But that is me wanting to understand her behavior.  I hope the video helps you if your dealing with Narcissists 
(Which I never thought of them that way) But after the video I was like wow they are!!!

I have been a scapegoat for many years starting when I was younger. So it all just fit.
